芝加哥（2014年9月19日），7名肯代尔大学的学生在通过2014年6月6日举办的严格考试之后，获得了广受认可的国际酒店管理格里昂高级证书（Glion Advanced Certificate in International Hospitality Management）。这一高级证书将会为Michael J. Pak、Devisha Khanna、Renee Michelle Sparacio、Kareen M. Seven Kendall College Students Earn Glion Advanced Certificate in Int’l Hospitality ManagementCHICAGO (September 19, 2014) – Seven Kendall College students have earned the esteemed Glion Advanced Certificate in International Hospitality Management following a rigorous exam held on June 6, 2014. The certificate provides Michael J. Pak, Devisha Khanna, Renee Michelle Sparacio, Kareen M. Morales, Sylvia Agung, Mark Husband and Anita Satya with a competitive career advantage in an increasingly global marketplace. All students will graduate from Kendall College. The Glion Institute of Higher Education, based in Switzerland, is ranked among the best hospitality schools in the world for an international career.
“The Glion Advanced Certificate in Hospitality Management is offered to distinguish students such as this special group of Kendall students from competitors in this demanding career marketplace and gives them the opportunity to advance their knowledge of the hospitality field,” said Dr. Susan Tinnish, Dean of the School of Hospitality Management. “We are excited to see this group expand their skills with assistance from this prestigious institution.”
Since its inception, the exam for The Glion Advanced Certificate in Hospitality Management has been offered four times at Kendall College; twice a year to qualifying students. To be eligible to take the exam, students must complete nine pre-requisite classes, passing the exam and earning the certificate demonstrates proficiency in the topics of Organizational Behavior, Human Resources Management, Leadership, and Services Marketing, critical topics for management success in Hospitality. The Glion Advanced Certificate in International Hospitality Management is only awarded to students upon enrolled in the Kendall Hospitality Management B.A. program and cannot be obtained independently from the degree.
