肯代尔大学改善商务课程---注重全球性应用课程

Kendall College Improves Business Programming With Focus on Global, Applied Curriculum
New School of Business Director, Aurora Reinke, Responds to Market Demands by Preparing Business Management Leaders for demands of global economy
CHICAGO (July 5, 2013) – Under the helm of new School of Business Director Aurora Dawn Reinke, Kendall College will introduce an updated business curriculum this month to prepare students for a holistic approach to business management. In a competitive field with proven leaders across multiple disciplines, Kendall’s program will emphasize global practices and applied learning experiences to meet market demand.
Ms. Reinke first joined Kendall in March of 2009 as an adjunct professor and made the transition to full-time faculty effective January 2010. In addition to her extensive teaching experience, Reinke also brings 15 years of marketing experience within the technology industry. Reinke received her undergraduate degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Computer Information Systems from Georgia State University. She earned a Master in International Business degree from the University of South Carolina, with a focus on Latin American studies.
The streamlined Bachelors of Arts in Business degree program offers two concentrations – Management or Small Business Management – both based on business fundamentals combined with innovative and globally applied teaching methods, including case studies, and management simulations. Courses in both concentrations train students in managing products and services, information, strategy, systems and people.
Kendall also is now offering a BA in Business for students who have a Culinary Associates degree. Kendall’s unique program allows students to complete their bachelor’s, online or on campus, in as little as two years with a concentration in small business management.
“Our goal is to offer innovative and flexible programs that give our students the skill set they need to have successful careers in a changing business environment,” said Ms. Reinke. “Our students will have the real world experience they need in today’s competitive global economy.”
Committed faculty bring their first-hand business experience to Kendall’s campus and online business programs, along with a mixed-learning experience that includes video, gaming and social media. In addition, an advisory board of successful business leaders monitors the curriculum to ensure it meets current and future industry needs.
